Luca's passion for electronic music began in the early 2000s with labels like Warp and Ninja Tune, after spending his childhood playing classic piano and listening to all sorts of music. He started working on his own productions in about 2005, using various music software including Ableton Live. Luca then deepened his knowledge by attending IDTM institute in Milan in 2007 where he studied Music Production, Sound Design and Synthesis, while moving his first steps into DJing and live performance. In parallel, he was also studying Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Milano (within a specific course targeting DSP and Audio Engineering) and graduated from the Master’s in 2013. During the last 6 years, besides teaching Ableton, Luca has been working as Synthesiser Product Specialist, Sound Designer and Multimedia Artist. He released music on bass/dubstep labels under his ‘Piezo’ alias and performed at festivals and parties across Europe. Luca lives between Italy and UK. His classes range from Ableton Live Basics to Advanced Production and Performance Techniques.
